Sacred Voices

Trees are keeping sacred power of wisdom within their trunks. If ones manage to connect to the spirit of the tree he will be granted access to these powers and knowledge. If you develop a special relation with the tree you will be allowed to connect to its energy center. When you resonate a vibration of love it will unleash a voice within the tree energy center and this voice will respond to you. If you manage to achieve that then you can ask a specific question to the tree. But only an important one! It will answer you. But only to a question concerning you. Do not ask about other people’s fate.
You could dedicate a song or a prayer to the tree before starting to meditate and try to connect with its spirit. One can also bring some gifts – candles, water, flowers, etc. – especially if you want to ask the tree for a branch to make wand or staff. It is important to manage to beg the tree to store part of its energy it the branch you are going to cut. In fact you should first ask for permission to cut part of the tree and you should wait for its sacred voice to respond to you.
In the Indian tradition, when the shaman wants to cut a branch of the tree he pronounces a prayer:
“Father Oak allow me to cut a true branch to serve my people”

If you cut without permission the tree will draw out its energy from the part you want to cut.
Take time to get familiar with the trees in your area. If you pay them respect and love them you will soon hear their sacred voices and their story! Learning from the trees is a really pleasant experience.

We are celebrating Earth Day with the release of a new video – ‘Inspiring Action‘ – which we would like to share with you as part of our thanks for your continuing support of Greenpeace.
